To have sustainable and productive wild Pacific salmon fisheries, you need healthy wild salmon habitat, meaning the rivers, streams, and freshwater lakes that salmon call home during the beginning and end of their life cycle. Unfortunately, due to human disturbances and development, a large percentage of wild salmon habitat has been destroyed and the last remaining pristine watersheds are under threat, which is why Trout Unlimited and its members work every day to:

Protect... critical freshwater salmon habitat

Reconnect... salmon streams and migratory pathways

Restore... wild salmon watersheds

Sustain... wild salmon fisheries
